Who can collaborate on POLITICAL KARAOKE?

All interested parties can become collaborators. Optimally, POLITICAL KARAOKE will have several interested parties simultaneously working on the site. Please see below for instructions on how to become a collaborator.

 

 

What can collaborators do?

Collaborators become “editors” of the POLITICAL KARAOKE site. They can create and edit posts, pages, comments and change the organization of the main page. They cannot change the formatting of the site immediately, but it is possible. All collaborators also have access to the POLITICAL KARAOKE YouTube account (PoliticalKaraoke) and email (mail at political karaoke dot com). How do I become a collaborator?

First, create a free account on WordPress.com by going here. Second, send an email to POLITICAL KARAOKE with your WordPress.com username so we can grant you access to the site. Finally, go here to login to POLITICAL KARAOKE using your WordPress.com username and password.

What should I post?

You should post anything you think relates to the theme of “political karaoke.” At the time of this writing there are readings, artworks, photographs, as well as categorized videos of performances found on YouTube. You can also create your own page on POLITICAL KARAOKE and post whatever you like.

 

 

How should my posts be formatted?

Title, artist/author, place, date, etc. At the time of this writing, descriptions are usually written in the post’s title and the videos are inserted in the post’s content.

 

 

How should I categorize my post?

Categorize your post by its content. Is it art or a text? Does it incorporate eye contact or altered lyrics? Etc.

 

 

How can I change the arrangement of posts on the main page?

The main page is automatically organized by time and date. To rearrange elements of the main page you have to change the time and date of the posts you want to rearrange.
